Austin Flameworks glass blowing class' are taught by resident artist Jay Massey. In this class you will be taught how to use a torch, the different tools needed for lamp working & what they do, how to manipulate solid glass rod/tubing and the art of imploding solid glass to make pendants. The class last for 5 hours, plus a lunch break in the middle of the day. Your glass art made in the class will always be available for pick up the next day. (We have to anneal the glass properly and run it in the kiln at the end of class.)
