Since he was very young Salt has pursued artistic expression. As he grew up and gained access to more and more media and learned from the other artists and the teachers who came into his life he came to understand his art as how he could relate and interact with the world. Salt's path eventually led him to flameworking and glass and in a way helped him find his voice.

Now Salt chooses a path that facilitates interaction with the glass art community and  a sense of responsibility for its direction.

I want to be forever a student and a teacher always learning and growing. I hope my art reflects that idea of growth and evolution.
