Scott Rosinski was born in New England in 1980. In 1999 he moved to Portland, Maine, where he attended Maine College of Art for smithing and jewelry design. He was introduced to lampworking through an indenpent study on glassblowing. After three years of experimenting with the medium, Rosinski became the resident artist at Maine's Royal River Art + Glass.

He now lives in Humboldt County, California with his family, where he owns and operates the Arcata Glass Co-op with several other artists.
